Manchester United have flown to the United States to begin their Premier League Summer Series campaign, but one notable name is missing from the travelling squad, Harry Maguire. The England international has not joined his teammates on the flight to Chicago due to a "personal matter", per multiple reports.

Ruben Amorim has selected a 32-man group to represent United on their American pre-season tour, reflecting a blend of fresh acquisitions, returning stars, and promising youth talent. The club is set to participate in the Premier League's Summer Series, which will take place across the Atlantic.

Two marquee signings, Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo, are part of the travelling contingent. Mbeumo was officially unveiled just a day before the flight after his high-profile £71 million ($96m) switch from Brentford. Cunha, who joined United from Wolverhampton Wanderers last month in a £62.5m ($84m) deal, is also present despite recently welcoming his second child.

Lisandro Martinez has been included in the list of players headed to the United States; however, fans shouldn’t expect to see him in action anytime soon. The Argentine defender is still recovering from injury and is not yet fit to train fully or participate in match action as he continues rehabilitation.
