Reports emerging from Italian outlets such as and suggest that McTominay’s early exit from training on Thursday sparked concern among the club’s medical team. Initial fears revolved around the possibility of a muscular injury, potentially derailing his availability for the upcoming fixtures in the final stretch of the season.

However, after medical examinations, it was revealed that there are no signs of muscle tears or more serious damage. The issue has been attributed to muscle fatigue, and although it was a scare, the player is expected to recover in time to feature in the matchday squad against Parma.

However, Conte remained upbeat despite the recent injury scare.
“McTominay has had a few problems,” Conte told reporters. “But we will always find the solution, regardless."
