Rangers fans reckon Daniel Candeias could be set for an Ibrox exit this summer, after spotting some of his social media activity this week.
Eagle-eyed supporters have been intrigued by the player liking Instagram comments from fans of one of his previous clubs Alanyaspor, where he spent time on loan at in the season prior to his move to Glasgow in 2017.
The Portuguese winger has been a regular under Steven Gerrard and is clearly rated by the manager, making a massive 52 appearances throughout 2018/19, but has underwhelmed supporters with inconsistent performances and there’s a belief that the Gers can do much better in the position.
Now 31 and with just a year left on his current contract, there doesn’t appear to be much upside to having him at the club for another season and letting him leave on a free transfer rather than recouping some sort of fee for him this summer.
With fresh talent like Jake Hastie arriving at the club, the Gers could be looking a lot more direct on the wings next term.
