Speaking after his brace against Las Palmas, Mbappe said: "I'm really happy. I've adapted to the team now and I can play as I want, with my teammates, with personality. We're all enjoying it."
THE BIGGER PICTURE
The important victory has sent Madrid to the top of the table as they capitalised on their title rivals Atletico Madrid and Barcelona's mishaps on Saturday. Ancelotti's side have now won three league games in a row and have opened up a two-point advantage over Atletico. Should Mbappe and his team-mates continue their rampant attacking form, it may be hard to stop them racing to the title.
