Paul Heckingbottom’s reign at Leeds has been a fairly miserable one, and fans have been voting whether the ex-Barnsley man deserves more time.
When Heckingbottom replaced Thomas Christiansen in February, Leeds’ playoff hopes were right on the edge, and the 40 year-old has pretty much pushed them off a cliff.
Still, not all the blame can be placed on the inexperienced manager, as injuries have plagued the squad all season, and especially since he arrived.
On top of the injury problems, there is also the fact that a lot of the current squad just simply isn’t good enough, so some fans believe it would only be fair to judge the manager after the summer transfer window, or at some point next season.

For many though, the lack of improvement in the current squad (just two wins since February), the seemingly random team selection and the poor game management are enough to end Heckingbottom’s reign.
Changing managers twice a year cannot be good for the club, but it seems most fans are in agreement that Heckingbottom is just not the right fit, as a whopping 84 per cent of voters said a change in leadership is in order.
