West Bromwich Albion’s main objective after dropping into the Championship was to work their way back up to the top flight.
So far, Darren Moore’s side have had a mixed bag of results, winning three, drawing one and losing two.
After six games the club find themselves ninth in the table, and there is one player who the fans are warming to.
Dwight Gayle, rated at £9m by Transfermarkt, moved to The Hawthorns from Newcastle United on a season-long loan and he is already off the mark.

The 27-year-old, who has scored 29 goals for the Magpies, has found the back of the net three times for the Baggies.
In six outings, Gayle has also created three assists, which is making him a valuable member of the team.
According to a recent report in the Sunday People (September 9, page 50), the striker is attracting interest from clubs in the Chinese Super League.
A lucrative deal could potentially be on the table next summer for Gayle, but plenty of West Brom fans have made it clear that they want him to stay.
When Twitter account @WestBromNews asked supporters if they would sign the striker permanently, the verdict was clear.
